The share of adults identifying as Catholic has declined sharply across much of Latin America over the past decade. The number of people with no religious affiliation has risen, according to a January 21 Pew Research Center report. This marks a shift in a region where more than 90% of people were Catholic around 1900. The report, Catholicism Has Declined in Latin America Over the Past Decade is based on surveys of more than 6,200 adults in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru conducted in spring 2024. Comparing the results with a similar 2013–14 survey, Pew found that the Catholic share fell by at least 9 percentage points in all six countries. Today, Catholics make up 46% of adults in Brazil and Chile, 58% in Argentina, 60% in Colombia, and 67% in both Mexico and Peru. A decade ago, all six countries had Catholic majorities of roughly six-in-ten or more adults. Can’t do it without the priests. Any priest with a plastic tab “collar”: RUN. Where are the street preachers? The bishops confronting the government? Revolution for God is the only good one, and it is a counterrevolution.
This report from the Pew Research Center is yet another reason for us, as Catholics, to "go all out." Is there still anyone who doubts that Vatican II was a failure? and that the time is near? and that it's better to be prepared...
01/23/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. The job of journalists is to inform—not to stir up fears. But what should we do when we are dealing with information that in itself triggers fears? It is not a good idea to ignore such news. That turns journalism into a one-sided game with a forced happy ending. Ken Jebsen, a German independent journalist from an Iranian family, conducted an interview with artificial intelligence (AI) last August and, with his questions, elicited statements that its developers themselves would never have expected, even in their worst nightmares. The term “psychological sabotage” appeared in the following, extremely interesting film. A good article describing this “discussion” between a human and a computer program called KI Chat- “KAA I” appeared yesterday on the fassadenkratzer.de platform: An AI reveals itself: a hidden control instrument of humanity and society.Source. As the Trump administration’s Make America Healthy Again initiative ramps up its assault on processed poisons and added sugars, Davos elites are scrambling to defend their synthetic food agenda. From lab-grown “meat” to artificial additives, the WEF crowd insists their tech-driven “solutions” will save the planet, even as public resistance mounts and states impose bans on cultivated cell products. Open letter to Pope Leo XIV: The heresy of Modernism lives on through Vatican II: Legal scholar Raymond Marcin has urged the Pope to reject Vatican II’s path, calling it a covert revival of what St. Pius X condemned as the ‘synthesis of all heresies.’
Wed Jan 14, 2026 - 7:31 am EST Editor’s note: Below follows the full text of an Open Letter to Pope Leo XIV by Emeritus Professor of Law at the Catholic University of America Raymond B. Marcin. (LifeSiteNews) — Your Holiness, The purpose of this letter is to express a concern regarding the path that our Catholic Church has been following for six decades now in the wake of its Second Vatican Council. In your address to the College of Cardinals on Saturday, May 10, 2025, just two days after your election as Pope, you described that path with clarity and invited the entire College of Cardinals to commit themselves completely to the teachings of the Second Vatican Council in these words: In this regard, I would like us to renew together today our complete commitment to the path that the universal Church has now followed for decades in the wake of the Second Vatican Council. Pope Francis masterfully and concretely set it forth in the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, from which I …
Leo XIV today appointed Monsignor Carlo Roberto Maria Redaelli, 69, until now Archbishop of Gorizia, Italy, as Secretary of the Dicastery for the Clergy. Carlo Roberto Maria Redaelli (born 1956 in Milan) is a canon lawyer who served for many years in the Archdiocese of Milan before becoming Archbishop of Gorizia in 2012. He holds a doctorate in canon law from the Pontifical Gregorian University, where he specialized in the nature of Church law in the post–Vatican II period. Promoting Homosexuality In June 2017, in Staranzano, a small town in the Diocese of Gorizia, a leader of the Catholic Scout movement (AGESCI) entered into a homosexual civil union. The parish priest, Don Francesco Fragiacomo, stated that, as a consequence of this choice, he could no longer retain his role as a Catholic educator. Archbishop Redaelli intervened publicly and stabbed the priest in the back. The anti-Catholic slogans of Monsignor Redaelli were: One must seek the “grace present in every situation” and …තව

Home » Vestments » Resurrecting Old Vestments: Antique Vestment Repair and Restoration Anyone who has a passion for antique vestments will know the story. You have a beautiful vestment that you've come across somewhere, there's only one problem: the vestments are dirty, frayed, or worn out in some capacity. At its worst -- something I've personally seen -- it can mean the underlying silk material has become threaded and is pulling apart, usually at a pressure point like the shoulders where the fabric is more likely to stretch, particularly from improper storage (perhaps an article we should take up in its own right shortly). Many years ago, I might have thought that such vestments were simply write-off's. Many years later, and with more knowledge and experience behind me, I now understand that such vestments could in fact have the potential of being restored and saved in one or another ways. Now, like anything, one has to use some common sense here. First, there's the matter of the …
FSSPX Bishop Celebrates Mass in a Diocesan Church: Bishop Bernard Fellay (FSSPX) celebrated a Mass in the Roman Rite in a church of the Diocese of Orlando, Florida. The photos were published by Gerónimo María on X.com. However, the claim that a priest from the diocese served as deacon is disputed; it appears instead to have been Father Ezequiel Rubio of the Priestly Fraternity in South America. The occasion for the Mass was the sacrament of Confirmation. This also occurred about two years ago, when Bishop Tissier celebrated Mass in the same church, likewise with permission from the diocese.
Gerónimo María published on X.com: "We've had an SSPX bishop, Bishop Fellay, able to celebrate a Pontifical TLM in a church of the Diocese of Orlando, on the occasion of the confirmation of members of St. Thomas More, an SSPX church in Sanford. This already happened about two years ago, with Bishop Tissier doing the same thing in the same church."

He brought his pc in to check it out and was told, someone has accesses to your pc and all your info.
U.S. President Donald Trump has invited dozens of world leaders to join his Board of Peace initiative aimed at resolving global conflicts. Diplomats know it would undermine the role of the United Nations and established multilateral diplomacy. The initaitve was started to “help manage” the Gaza ceasefire and reconstruction Trump would serve as chairman — effectively for life. Holy See Reviewing Next Steps Cardinal Pietro Parolin replied: “President Trump is asking various countries to participate. I seem to have read in the newspapers this morning that Italy, too, is considering whether to join or not. We have also received the invitation to the Board of Peace for Gaza. The Pope has received it and we are assessing what to do. We are looking into the matter, and I believe it is an issue that requires some time to be properly considered before giving a response.” Countries that have publicly accepted the invitation Egypt — official acceptance reported. 21.01.2026 Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger did not disclose the Rahner LG 16 – error. The Council would have been traditional and the liberals in schism. Instead he excommunicated Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre for not accepting Vatican Council II interpreted with the false premise of Karl Rahner. It is now clear. Fr. Karl Rahner made a mistake in the book The Christian of the Future (1967.Herder and Herder, New York). On pp.94 and 95 he projects being saved in invincible ignorance ( Lumen Gentiun 16) as being an explicit and known example of salvation outside the Catholic Church. He then infers that LG 16 is an objective exception for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS). So EENS has become obsolete for him (pp.82-85). In this book made up of talks he gave in Germany in 1965 he criticizes the understanding of extra ecclesiam nulla salus ‘in a very exclusive and permissive way’… So for him there is a new understanding of mission- that of the anonymous Christian, since the dogma EENS …තව
Bishop Athanasius Schneider argues in an interview with Diane Montagna on January 20 that Cardinal Roche’s document on the liturgy to the consistory is shaped by a predetermined opposition to the Mass in the Roman rite. Below is a summarized version Bishop Schneider’s critique. He calls Cardinal Roche manipulative, dishonest, rigid and a clericalist. The original English interview is available in authorised translations into Italian, German, French and Spanish. Methodological Bias and Use of History Schneider maintains that Roche’s document lacks genuine objectivity and instead selectively employs historical data to justify restrictions on the Traditional Roman Rite. He argues that Roche: · presents partial or misleading historical interpretations · applies selective citations · and frames conclusions in advance rather than deriving them from evidence Schneider: “It appears driven by an agenda aimed at denigrating this liturgical form and ultimately eliminating it from ecclesial …තව
