This is what leadership looks like on the world stage.
Not a press conference.
Not a scripted soundbite.
Three hours. Unfiltered. On the biggest podcast on the planet.
Pierre Poilievre just sat down with Joe Rogan and made a case for Canada that millions of Americans just heard.
And he didn’t fumble it.
He came across strong. Clear. Human.
He explained Canada in a way Americans can actually understand. Trade. Energy. Sovereignty. Why we matter.
And here’s the part a lot of Canadians still don’t want to hear.
We are not replacing the United States.
Not now. Not later.
Every time I post anything about Canada US relations, I get the same comments.
“China is a better alternative.”
That’s not just wrong. That’s insane.
Look at a map.
We share the longest undefended border in the world with the US. Our economies are tied together at the hip. Our industries feed each other. Our supply chains are built together.
There is no memo. No handshake deal. No fantasy trade partner that replaces the American consumer.
It doesn’t exist.
And Poilievre went on Rogan and said exactly what needed to be said.
Stronger ties with Canada benefit Americans.
Lower costs. More energy. More stability.
That’s how you sell Canada.
Not by begging. Not by posturing.
By making it make sense.
And he did it on the biggest stage available.
That matters more than any photo op in Europe.
That matters more than any quiet meeting no one hears about.
This is influence.
This is reach.
This is how you shape perception.
I also loved something most people will miss.
I was, as I always am, impressed by his knowledge of history.
The guy knows his stuff.
If I’m being honest, I could’ve done with a little less MMA talk.
But that’s the point of long-form conversations.
You actually get to see the person.
Not just the politician.
And that matters.
He even swore a bit.
Sounds small.
It’s not.
It made him real.
Not a robot. Not a rehearsed politician. A guy who actually believes what he’s saying.
And then the moment that really stood out.
He refused to criticize the sitting Prime Minister while on foreign soil.
I didn’t love it in the moment.
But we should.
Because that’s leadership.
That’s putting country before cheap points.
And it completely destroys the narrative that he’s some divisive, abrasive “maple MAGA” figure.
That label doesn’t survive a three hour conversation.
Not even close.
This was calm. Thoughtful. Strategic.
And it ended with Rogan saying he’d vote for him if he could.
Think about that.
Millions of Americans just got introduced to a Canadian leader who made sense.
Who sounded reasonable.
Who made Canada look strong.
That hasn’t happened in a long time.
This wasn’t just a podcast.
This was a turning point.
And if Canadians are paying attention, they’ll realize what just happened.
We finally have someone willing and able to go out into the world and fight for this country properly.
Not quietly.
Not timidly.
Not apologetically.
Confidently.
We should be rallying around this moment.
Because moments like this don’t come around often.
PP for PM.

Sadly, Canadians keep voting Liberal, even Catholics.
