Bishop Barron Caught by His Digital Past?

Pro-homosexual author ChrisDamian.Substack.com (April 14) accuses the “conservative” Bishop Robert Barron of having followed provocative male accounts on his private Facebook account.
In December 2025, Chris Damian published that Bishop Barron’s personal account was following several such pages, including one for 'Brazilian male feet'.
This prompted a response from Bishop Barron's organisation, Word on Fire. They claimed that the account had recently been hacked and was being used for 'digital fraud'. However, despite Facebook providing a history of account logins, including suspicious access, Word on Fire did not provide any evidence to support this claim.
Yesterday, shortly after Bishop Barron demanded an apology from Donald Trump for attacking Pope Leo XIV, Damian published more information.
He posted screenshots showing that Bishop Barron had followed similar provocative accounts as far back as January 2024, casting doubt on the claims of Word on Fire.
These accounts included '…More

Key Points
We are living very difficult times.
We may feel that the Lord is not responding to our prayers.
Jesus is especially demanding of His friends.
He calls them to extreme faith.
In order to prepare His great mercies.
Introduction: When God Seems Absent
Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. Both Martha and Mary say that. Have you ever felt that way? Have you ever felt sometimes that you’re praying intensely and God doesn’t seem to be listening, He doesn’t seem to respond? You needed Him, and He seemed absent.
Maybe you’ve tried to be faithful to Him and are wondering, why doesn’t God listen to me? Or you’re praying for someone—yourself, or maybe someone that you care about—and it feels like nothing is happening.
I wanted to focus on that today in today’s Gospel, because it shows Jesus interacting with very special friends of His, and it shows that He asks more of His special friends. These were very special friends. The Gospel itself says, “Now Jesus …More

Profile
A middle child – the seventh of thirteen children, and raised as a pious child. Soldier at age 18, and fought in the war against the Huguenots. Joined the navy to fight in the siege of La Rochelle, but illness kept him from the fight. He lived for three years in Paris, France, devoted to poetry and painting and to wild and frivolous living. Back in his home town of Cavaillon, he took over the position of his late brother as canon of Salon, a position he wanted for its income and connections instead of its spiritual significance. One night while on his way to a masked ball, he passed a shrine where a small light was burning before an image of the Virgin Mary. He was suddenly overwhelmed by the memory that a friend, Antoinette Reveillade, had prayed fervently for his salvation. He realized that there was no way he could live a life offending God and then expect to …More

(Personal note: The author of this article came right down the middle when discussing both sides.....Wanted to get that out.....)
His Holiness Pope Leo XIV Is Not a Politician
Everyone is already seeing the tension building between U.S. President Donald Trump and Pope Leo XIV, especially with everything going on right now involving the U.S. and Iran. After the Pope made public appeals for restraint, peace, and basically warning about the dangers of escalating violence, Trump came back pretty strongly, calling him “weak on crime” and “terrible for foreign policy,” and basically saying the Pope doesn’t really understand how global security works.
Now I’ve said this before and I think it still applies here. The Pope is not a politician, and neither are bishops, priests, or any of the clergy. Their job is just different. A lot of people today kind of blur that line and start treating the Church like it’s just another political player in Washington or anywhere else. But that’s not …More

Holiness is not attributable to worshipers of demons. Is this mass amnesia just because people became disillusioned with Trump and now they need a new idol, so they pretend he is "holy" all of a sudden?

Apostasy from the Faith is defined as “the complete and voluntary abandonment of the Christian religion, whether the apostate embraces another religion such as Paganism, Judaism, Mohammedanism, etc., or merely makes profession of Naturalism, Rationalism, etc.” (Catholic Encyclopedia, s.v. “Apostasy”).

"It is absurd for a heretic to say that he believes in Jesus Christ. To believe in a person is to give our full consent to his word and to all he teaches. True faith, therefore, is absolute belief in Jesus Christ and in all He taught. Hence, he who does not adhere to everything Jesus Christ has prescribed for our salvation does not have any more of the Doctrine of Jesus Christ than the pagans, Jews and Mohammedans."

Christians have the right to confide in God, contrary to the followers of Mohammed
A priest of the Society of Jesus, who during life devoted a great deal of time to the conversion of sinners, died with joy and confidence of salvation; this some considered to be excessive. Hence he was told that at death we should entertain sentiments of fear as well as of confidence. He answered: Have I served Mahomet? I have served a God who is so grateful and faithful; why, then, should I fear? (Saint Alphonsus Liguori. Dignity and duties of the priest: or, Selva, pg. 172)

Every charism, every gift that has come from Me produces holy fruit for all My children. Each gift is useful when, having received it, the soul offers it to Me, that I might show how, when, and where to use it.
They are the instruments of work that I give to you, the necessary tools [given] according to the work that I entrust to you.
I do not give anything in vain, children.
But just as I give you My Grace and you misuse it on so many occasions, so My gifts are refused, ignored, misused, distorted by the pride instigated by Satan.
And when these tools that I give you become truncated, so do the works, the missions that I give to you.
And how many missions have been thus left incomplete, useless, and your souls perceiving this disorder cause you to suffer.
This too will be renewed, children. Be encouraged.

11K views · 849 reactions | One of the wonders of late medieval England? There is truly nothing else quite like the Wenhaston Doom. There are doom paintings else where in England, however, none survive in such a well preserved state. For instance, there is a great doom at St Thomas’s church in Salisbury, however, that has been extensively restored. Additionally, there are many dooms that survive in terrible condition, such as the one at Stanningfield church, also in Suffolk. One of the reasons why the Wenhaston Doom is so appealing is because of this story of its chance survival. The fortune of this story make the feeling of beholding this stunning piece of late medieval art even more overpowering. If anyone is wondering, the gaps in these paintings are the shadow of where the Rood figures would have once stood before the painting. The rood figures included Jesus on the Cross, flanked by John and Mary. Unfortunately, every single doom painting in England was destroyed at the Reformation …More

In June, he intends to focus specifically on the progress made by the groups regarding Evangelii Gaudium, particularly with regard to mission and the transmission of the faith. There is no mention of liturgy.

Leo writes to the cardinals: “Evangelii gaudium remains a key reference point”

Vatican City - On the occasion of Easter, Pope Leo XIV sent a letter to all the members of the College of Cardinals. The text, signed by the Pontiff before his departure for Algeria, comes after Leo XIV had already met the cardinals on several occasions, both individually and collectively. A gesture that confirms a style of governance rooted in direct dialogue, mutual trust and an authentically lived shared responsibility.
Easter greetings and thanks for the Consistory
The letter opens with a fraternal greeting and Easter good wishes, invoking “the peace of the risen Lord” upon a world the Pope describes as “suffering”. Leo XIV then takes the opportunity to thank the cardinals for their participation in last January’s Consistory, expressing particular appreciation for the quality of the work carried out in the groups and for the freedom of the interventions made during the assembly. The contributions gathered on that occasion are described as “a precious resource”, which the …

Alleged Abuse Victim: "I Could Not Understand How a Bishop Could Be Attracted to Men"

InfoVaticana.com published the testimony of one of two alleged victims of homosexual abuse by the Peruvian Bishop Antonio Santarsiero Rosa of Huacho. Last week, he stepped down as Secretary General of the Peruvian Bishops’ Conference after two accusers came forward.
Bishop Santarsiero denies any wrongdoing.
He was an institutional colleague of Bishop Robert Prevost of Chiclayo (2014-2023). Santarsiero, Bishop of Huacho since 2004, moved in the same circles, and both held leadership roles in the Peruvian Episcopal Conference. Santarsiero was president of the Economic Council (2020–2022) and Prevost a second vice president of the Peruvian bishops.
The testimony of the anonymous seminarian includes graphic and traumatising details.
"When I was 15, I went to a minor seminary in December 2010. My older brother [name], had gone there before me. He invited me to go. My experience there was positive, and I attended my senior year of high school in [city] in 2011. When my brother left the seminary …More

Sometimes, people don’t just argue with you—they deliberately provoke you to get rid of you. And if you fall for it, if you take the bait, you don’t just lose the argument; you lose a piece of yourself.
There are certain "conversations" that aren't actually conversations at all... they are traps. The moment you step into them, you surrender your peace, your energy, and even your dignity.
Think back to the ancient wisdom often attributed to Socrates: "If a donkey kicks me, should I take it to court?"
Behind this simple question lies a massive truth: not every provocation is worth a single word in response. There are people who breathe through drama and scandal. They shout, they insult, they weave elaborate lies—all fueled by envy, their own inner pain, or a deep-seated dissatisfaction with their lives. They lash out at others like wounded animals: without reason, without boundaries, and without self-awareness.
But you... you have absolutely no obligation to meet them at that level.

What the cardinal really wants is women in tunicles/dalmatics.

Cardinal Hollerich Wants Female Subdeacons for the Liturgy

Pro-homosexual Luxembourg Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich has warned that the idea of female ordination would "currently" split the Church.
In an interview with VaticanNews.va on 10 April, Cardinal Hollerich referred to the divisions within the Anglican group following the appointment of Sarah Mullally.
According to the cardinal, any [impossible] change in access to ordained ministry must come through “the consensus of the whole Church,” not through isolated regional decisions.
However, Hollerich claimed a growing frustration among “many” women.
For him it is difficult to imagine a Church enduring long-term if “half of the People of God suffer because they have no access to ordained ministry.”
Asked about a possible timeline, Cardinal Hollerich said: “I leave that to the Holy Spirit.” In the meantime, he wants to expanding women’s roles in decision-making within the Church.
He has three women serving as episcopal delegates in his Archdiocese for consecrated life, the social sector,…More
