The British journalist Melanie Phillips (who has written for The Guardian and The Times, among others) explains clearly how Western societies came to accept lies as truth. Following the experience of totalitarian structures in the 20th century, society rejected any external authority on principle. As a result, the hierarchy among opinions, values, worldviews and cultures also disappeared. Nothing could be better or worse than anything else. No lifestyle, no family background, no national culture, no religion. Anyone who failed to understand this was a racist. As a result, a liberal society could no longer claim to be better than an unfree society. The only thing that mattered was what the individual person felt. Their feelings were more important than any facts, because they used them to create their own reality. With that, the idea of an objective truth was done away with.

@Everyday for Life Canada Thank you for your comment. Are you saying only the West uses PSYOPS'. Clearly the Kremlin uses PSYOP's also. Here is a quote, "Published in 1997, Aleksandr Dugin’s book called the Foundation of Geopolitics (reportedly assigned reading for Russian military officers) called for:
"counteract[ing] US Atlanticist geopolitics at all levels and in all regions of the world, trying to weaken, demoralize, deceive and, ultimately, defeat the enemy as much as possible. It is especially important to bring geopolitical turmoil into the US domestic reality by encouraging all kinds of separatism, various ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements of extremist, racist and sectarian groups that destabilize internal political processes in the USA." So what does it mean for you to say "It doesn't compute?" What math are you reaching for? God bless you!

My husband asked me to put everything in my name—and later I understood why.
I’m 52 years old, and I was married to my husband for 18 years. From the moment we got married, he started insisting on something I didn’t fully understand at the time. Every time we bought something, he would say the same thing: “Put it in your name.” The first time was with the car. I asked him why, and he said it was better for organization, that he would explain later. I didn’t think much of it.
Over time, it became a rule.
We bought a house, and it was put in my name. Then a motorcycle—also in my name. Later, we opened a small business, and he insisted that all the registration, paperwork, and accounts be in my name. Several times I told him it wasn’t necessary, that we could share ownership, but he always said the same thing: “Leave it like that.”
He never gave me a full explanation.
He would just say it was better that way, that it avoided problems, that there was no need to complicate things. I …थप

Noelia Castillos Killed in Catholic Hospital

Noelia Castillo Ramos, 25, was killed on March 26 at the Catholic-owned Residència Sant Camil hospital in Sant Pere de Ribes.
She was taken into state custody at age 13, separated from her parents, and became the victim of a gang rape by immigrants. In 2022, she jumped from a fifth-floor window. She survived, but was left paraplegic. In 2024, she requested assisted suicide. Her father opposed the decision in court, but ultimately lost. Following her death, he released videos showing that she had begun to stand up again and rediscover hope (video below). The lawyer has alleged that the hospital expedited her death because her organs had already been allocated to other patients.
The killing procedure – ultimately done by organ harvesting - was carried out in her hospital room at Sant Camil.
Sant Camil Hospital was founded by the Camillian religious order. It is currently publicly managed within Catalonia’s healthcare system. However, it remains under religious ownership and continues to …थप

Survival Skills You'll Need After the Collapse - Ask a Prepper

In a world where the systems we have come to depend on collapses, survival hinges on a set of skills most in society have never learned.
These skills are about more than just getting by—they are about ensuring you and your loved ones can navigate the chaos and come out on the other side.
In this article we explore some of the skills you might need after a sudden collapse.
Mastering Self Defense and Home Defense
When society collapses, all rules will seemingly go out the window. This fact makes the need to defend yourself become a daily reality. It is not just about having a firearm; it is about truly knowing how to use it effectively and safely.
Firearms training should include marksmanship, understanding the mechanics of your weapon, and practicing in different conditions. But guns should not be your only line of defense. Hand-to-hand combat skills such as those those found in Krav Maga or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, can give you a leg up when it comes to close-quarter combat where a weapon …

🚨 USS Gerald R. Ford ‘out of action’ — ex-Indian general
The Iran war is effectively over for the damaged USS Gerald R. Ford, the world’s largest aircraft carrier, retired Indian Major General Gagan Deep Bakshi said.
🪖 The warship is “out of the combat area” and will soon head back to the US, he added — meaning the carrier’s 70 deck-based fighter jets are effectively sidelined.
👉 At least 600 sailors were earlier relocated after a fire broke out in a laundry area of the $13 billion carrier. The blaze was not combat-related, according to US officials.

The Abuse of Holy Week Liturgies
As Holy Week approaches in the Philippines, preparations in many parishes begin to increase and reach full swing. At the same time, however, there is a growing mindset among some Catholics, both laity and, unfortunately, even some clergy, that the liturgy needs to be made more engaging and that creativity may be freely introduced into it. Year by year, this has become a growing problem that needs to be addressed seriously. Many practices have been introduced into the liturgy that are not found in the official books of the Church. These include theatrical reenactments during Palm Sunday, the use of inappropriate methods for blessings, dramatised versions of the Passion on Good Friday, and excessive performances during the Easter Vigil. These are often defended as creative ways to make the liturgy more meaningful, but an important question must be asked: do these innovations actually respect the nature of the liturgy, or do they change it into something else? …थप

Amazon Bishop: "Pressure" Stopped Francis from Ending Celibacy

Austrian-born emeritus Amazon bishop Erwin Kräutler told Kath.ch on March 27 that Pope Francis may have refrained from abolishing celibacy due to external pressure.
He believes Francis was open to the idea at the 2019 Amazon Synod but ultimately did not adopt it in the 2020 document Querida Amazonia: "That makes me wonder: who is responsible for this rift?" Kräutler said, suggesting outside influence.
The Amazon Bishop reveals that Francis "was put under such pressure that he could no longer do otherwise psychologically and personally, and didn’t dare allow the ordination of married men as priests," despite previously encouraging "bold proposals".
Monsignor Kräutler added that the Amazon bishops had hoped for female priests, too. Many communities in the Amazon are "already" led by women. In his religion, the ordination of women is a matter of church law that could be changed with a single signature.
Kräutler served as Prelate of Xingu in Brazil from 1981 to 2015 and helped prepare the …थप

@Renvoie les riches les mains vides Thank you again for taking on the Russian influencers on Gloria TV! I am glad there are others willing to fight for the truth of Our Lady of Fatima's message! As for @Instaurare Omnia in Christo's idea that "The Russian government tried to kick them out. But the freemasons used Russia's own laws to prevent it." It is naive to think the laws that promote evil in Russia are accidental. Russia is in fact corrupt to the core and merely deceiving the gullible Catholics. And here on Gloria TV all these Russian influencers can post are RT TV articles. Or they post something a Pope said about Russia as if that's a magisterial teaching! Or they quote a "prophecy" that isn't aplicable in this circumstance. They are bombarding this platform with disinformation. And when you quote a Papal Encyclical they just assume it doesn't have anything to do with the modern age. They are completely modernist on the subject of the "Errors of Russia." God bless you!

Canada has become a post-nation state based on lies

Recall when PM Justin Trudeau stated that Canada was a post-nation state with no core values? Yes, he said it. He admired China because government decisions could be made without citizenry consultation. democracy is an inconvenience. Trudeau didn’t tell Canadians that his new post-nation state is built on lies.
More evidence to support the idea came out this week from an Ontario court decision. The Court of Appeal ruled on the side of the City of Hamilton in refusing to display and advertisement in its bus shelters. The appeal was filed by Canada's federal party the Christian Heritage Party. They paid for the ad.
The ad features (see above) a woman with the dictionary definition of woman: “Woman: An Adult Human Female.” According to the court, the city made the right decision in rejecting the ad because it could make the transit system unsafe for the public. Really? How the court came to this flawed conclusion nobody really knows. We can only assume the court can read the future and …

When developing the compact disc technology in the 1980’s, industry leaders Sony and Phillips wanted to make sure not to repeat the VHS/Betamax fiasco. So they worked together to assure that the new digital CD format would be uniform for all manufacturers. They ultimately agreed that the circumference of the discs should be 12 cm, which enables them to hold 74 minutes of music. Why 74 minutes? Because that is the length required to fit all of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony onto a single disc.
Born in Bonn, Germany in 1770, Beethoven was the son of an overbearing alcoholic father, who had ruined his artistic career as a singer by heavy drinking. Hoping to see his son Ludwig, whose musical brilliance was evident at a very young age, achieve the same kind of childhood music fame that had come to Mozart, the elder Beethoven subjected him to a grueling and abusive schedule of practices and performances.
Fortunately for Ludwig (and for posterity), his love of music enabled him to endure and …थप

Today, Pope Leo XIV is undertaking a one-day apostolic journey to Monaco, marking the first papal visit to the principality in almost 500 years. The programme includes a meeting with Prince Albert II, as well as public engagements and a concluding Eucharist. SilereNonPossum.com has questioned the size of the accompanying Vatican media delegation. "A trip at the Holy See’s expense for Tornielli, Monda and Ruffini. What is the purpose of their presence during such a brief apostolic journey? Absolutely none."
